I'm wondering the same, do I need a jailbraked phone to use this software. How do I get it to my iPhone?

I just jailbreaked with blackra1n and installed Cydia, and installed Appsync for OS 3.1. Then I restarted the iPhone. Put the downloaded file in iTunes and synced, worked great!
